About the Georgia Dome
The Georgia Dome, the largest cable-supported domed stadium in the world, opened in 1992. Located in downtown Atlanta, the Dome is the home venue for the Atlanta Falcons, host to Super Bowl XXVIII and XXXIV, host of the gymnastics and basketball events for the 1996 Olympic Games and host to both a Men's and Women's NCAA Final Four tournaments. Annually, the Dome hosts the Bank of America Atlanta Football classic, the SEC Football Championship and the Chick-fil-A Bowl.
The IETF 85 Social Event will be located on the floor of the Georgia Dome and include the entire field. Attendees will arrive through the inner corridors of the Georgia Dome and enter the field through the same breezeway that the Atlanta Falcons (and other teams) enter on game day!

If a quieter spot for a little networking is what you're after, there are plenty of seats available! Social attendees will have access to the stadium seats, as well as scattered seating throughout the field.
Soccer Game
Interested in participating in a soccer match on the Georgia Dome field? Well here's your chance.
The host companies will be organizing a soccer match for those who wish to participate. To sign-up, simply click the link below to add your name and preferred position(s) to the list. For those participating in the soccer match, showers will be made available, however, participants will need to bring their own towels and toiletry items.
